i never write in this anymore, i seem to go through periods of silence as far as lj goes and then i get back to it. i really think it, from now on, will just be a once in a while writing in this, thing. who knows really, facebook is more where i keep in touch with anyone. but anyways, everything is going superbly, im excited to go back to school, and then following again, for next year and its happenings as well (details of next years plans to be announced later.)

And now- for the geekiest moment of my life...

I was in the penn state bookstore earlier today, and happened to be browsing in the psychology textbook section, which was bad enough that i wanted to see what textbooks they were using, when i saw that they were selling the DSM 4th edition. and i got really excited, if i had had 90 dollars i more then likely would have bought it on the spot. it was just so neat to have the bible equivalent of psychology like right there. with all the diagnosis and disorders and the like. and after i was done drooling over it, i realized that was the geekiest thing ever.

and that was the fun story of this little catch up entry.

I love slow dancing with a random cute drunk guy named Leon and splashing around in the bubble filled fountain outside of the campus center at 1 am. No really, that just happened Lauren, Sarah and & ventured over after viewing someones away message to see the massive amounts of bubbles in the fountain. We were debating whether or not to be the crazy people to go in the 10 degree water when some cute drunk guy and his friend came up and started talking to us. Leon then made a deal to go in if IO did. One thing lead to another, and we were all in the freezing water, having a blast.. Happy last Saturday night at Ualbs. LOVE IT.<333

LIFE&SCHOOL.

So the first year of my college career is almost over...weird. I've been thinking and figuring a lot of things out as far as the future goes recently which has proved to be both helpful and really stressful/frustrating. But anyways I think I'll be able to graduate a year/a semester early which saves money and is pretty cool. I was considering grad school and I still may, but I'm fairly sure that I'll be moving after graduation. where? Well that all leads to what happened over the weekend. Andy & I went down to Hershey, PA for interviews to work this summer in the park, and we got them. (I'll be a ride operator & he'll be a games clerk) So during the interviews the woman who was interviewing me was like, "youre way over qualified, once you get some experience ill put you as supervisor." what does that mean? soon to be promoted, excellent. so if i go down the next few summers I will more then likely have an after graduation job there as a manager/supervisor or something of the sorts. from there on, im going right towards working in human relations for Hershey. It's starting to look very promising and not that difficult.
So anyways Andy & I found an apartment for over the summer. It's a brand new complex, gorgeous, and affordable. It's going to be a little tight money wise, but completely worth it from the career standpoint and of course personal. It's a great place, with a pool, sauna, massage therapist, hot tub, community parties and billiards room, breakfast every morning as well, and all is free. So we're going to be taking that apartment. I may update later because this is far too fantastic of a thing for me to not share on livejournal.

good day.
and happy easter. (slightly belated)

But sometimes it has gone somewhere. You have not lost it, just the ability to get rid of it by crying. It will be part of you now, steal up on you at unexpected moments. You will be watching your team play baseball, yelling for the,, and all of a sudden feel a jag in your throat. You will be reading, lying on your side on one elbow, and you will have to stop and lie flat and stare into space for awhile. That is how sadness is, insisting on a place in you but never quite cooperating."

-Durable Goods.
